Children & Youth
We want to do all we can to disciple the hearts of our children and train the lives of our teenagers.
Our church is a family, and we love to have children and youth meet with us each Sunday. You can find out more below, about the various groups running on a Sunday.
At Broadmead Baptist Church all trustees, children and youth workers have had the appropriate safeguarding training and are DBS checked. We also have a safeguarding policy which can be found here. If you have any safeguarding queries or concerns then please email us using the button below.
Crèche
Crèche is a space for 0-3 year olds to experience God’s love through play, books, craft and short Bible stories from our kids’ Bible.
Crèche meets in our newly renovated kids’ rooms to the right of the stage.
0-3 YEAR OLDS
Sparklers
In Sparklers our aim is to teach some of the littlest members of our Church family (pre-school to year 1) the big truths about our God. We do this by reading and acting out stories from the Bible together, learning memory verses and making crafts. We also have lots of fun singing together and playing games!
PRE-SCHOOL - YEAR 1
Explorers
School years 2-5 are welcome to join us on Sunday mornings as we discover God's Word together and grow in faith. We play games, make craft, read and sing together. We're a lively group always pleased to have new friends joining us!
YEAR 2 - YEAR 5
Connect
At Connect we are passionate about connecting with God and connecting with each other. We meet during the service to play games, pray and to look at God’s Word (the Bible) together.
YEAR 6 - YEAR 9
Youth
Youth meet Sundays from 2:30–4:30pm for games and Bible study. On Fridays from 7:30–9pm, we host events, including YPF (Young Persons’ Fellowship) every other week, which brings youth and connect groups together. Our goal is to share God’s love and the salvation found in Jesus through Bible teaching, mentoring, and prayer. We hope each child finds genuine faith, a home in our church family, and a passion to serve and share the Gospel.
